Cryocourse in Slovakia

Cryocourse 2019 will be the first training module provided by the European Microkelvin Platform (EMP), that receives funding from the European Union (H2020 project, grant agreement 824109). The main aim of the upcoming Cryocourse is to upkeep and disseminate the know-how of advanced cryogenic techniques accumulated by the EMP consortium at the European scale.

Centre of low temperature physics (CLTP) is a leading centre in field low temperature physics in Slovakia and in central Europe. Centre of Low Temperature Physics in Košice has been founded in collaboration of Institute of Experimental Physics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Košice and P. J. Šafárik University in Košice. Centre is located in historical building of University, where researchers from SAS and University share several low temperature equipments e.g.:3He-4He dilution refrigerators, cryo-free refrigerator TRITON 200, 3He refrigerators, 4He refrigerators, PPMS, MPMS, MPMS3, SHPM.
